SkyView FPV headset by Yuneec. New product!

SkyView FPV headset is the latest product to be announced by Yuneec International.

Yuneec is the first major consumer drone manufacturer to offer its own FPV headset. This is pretty cool as Yuneec Typhoon H and Tornado H920 drone owners can now operate via the onboard camera.

SkyView has a built-in 5-inch HD screen. This transmits in 720p, and has a 75.5-degree field of view and a 16:9 aspect ratio, providing what Yuneec term as “a stunning, life-like display”.

SkyView connects via HDMI port to playback videos, watch movies, play video games, and more. It is available now for $249.99

Yu Tian, CEO of Yuneec International, comments ““The SkyView FPV Headset elevates the flying experience for Yuneec pilots by literally putting  them in the driver’s seat of their drone. While operating the drone, they’ll have more confidence, enhanced perspective and more creative possibilities at their disposal. When not flying, it’s an incredible way for users to immerse themselves in video games and movies.”

You will hear more from Yu Tian at InterDrone, where he is giving one of the keynote speeches. Not only the founder of Yuneec, he is also an industry pioneer and has designed a number of iconic RC products.

We are so very excited about InterDrone. We will be hosting the Film Festival together with Las Vegas headliner Anthony Cools. If you haven’t yet booked your ticket, do so now.  Last year was a lot of fun and this year looks to be even bigger and even better.
