Today in San Francisco, Parrot announced the Bebop 2. Like the original Bebop, Parrot says it is designed for everybody to fly right out of the box with no skill needed, and built with upcoming drone regulations in mind.
Weighing in at 500 grams (17.6 ounces) it is light enough and small enough to carry in a backpack, but its new longer 6-inch propellers for better thrust-to-weight ratio combined with more powerful motors will allow it to reach 100 meters (330 feet) in 18 seconds.
It features a 14-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens that covers a 180-degree field of view. It record video at resolutions up to 1080p to its 8GB of internal flash storage.
Should be fun to test, and we cant wait to get or hands on one soon! stay tuned!
